Safety is the first topic of discussion at all meetings and is enforced from top management down We have safety professionals that continuously conduct in-house training, routine job inspections and facility inspections. Our safety professionals work with all of our employees to help create an accident-free workplace. All of our employees understand that safety is everyone’s responsibility. The Blalock Companies are not only concerned about our employees’ safety, we are also concerned about the safety of the people and communities where we work. TENNESSEE DRUG-FREE PROGRAM

We are proud to be a part of the Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace Program. The Blalock Companies are committed to maintaining a 100% Drug-Free Workplace. We believe that the first step toward developing a safe workplace is to create a drug-free workplace. Our projects are very strictly regulated by our safety professionals as well as federal, state, and local laws to create a safe workplace. It is the policy of our companies to help improve everyone’s safety by keeping drugs out of the workplace. We conduct pre-employment, periodic, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident alcohol and drug testing. We understand that our work is dangerous and that work and drugs do not mix. We take pride in seeing our employees go home to their families safe and sound every day. We are serious about our random drug testing. We have a mobile service agreement with Baptist (Center for Industrial Health) that performs on-site testing at our facilities and job sites.
